I Should Know About Things Like This

Today at lunch I went to The Mall. First I went to Anthro to return a pretty dress I would have liked to have kept but will never actually wear.

Then, feeling like spending a portion of the money I just got back, I went to Sephora. I never buy shit at Sephora. But today I felt like getting some new golden brown eye shadow that wasn't from Rimmel London / Walgreens. I know, fancy! I went a little crazy and decided to replace/update my lip gloss with grown-up type lipstick. Not a tube with a brush or a tube you squeeze. No, I got full-on lipstick, like, the kind old ladies and your mom wear. And probably you, too. Just not me.

Driving back to work I decided that obviously NOW was the time to try it out. So I put it on, looked in the mirror and was like HOLY SHIT THIS IS WHY I DON'T BUY LIPSTICK. It stains. And is like, 100 times stronger than lip gloss or my favorite cherry Chapstick.

Grown-up fail.
