I saw a recipe for key lime cupcakes on
Pia's blog. Being hungry and wanting them right now, being lazy and cheap and not wanting to buy all the ingredients (no, flour is not, in fact, as expensive as one may think), and finally, being without a real mixer for a real whipped frosting, I was what I like to call resourceful. Or full of excuses.

Here's my mangling of a delicate homemade cupcake recipe:
- Vanilla cake mix + food color + juice of 2 limes + zest of 2 limes
- Cream cheese frosting + juice of 1 lime + zest of 1 lemon

Quick and delicious (by my low standards) key lime cupcakes.
